Now that the warm weather and sunny days are finally upon us we would like to recommend that you spend an adventure filled day with your family and friends at “Mon Repos”, a spectacular Villa and Estate that is located just south of Corfu Town in the forest of Palaiopolis. Mon Repos was originally built by the British Empire in 1828 later to become the summer residence of the former Greek Royal Family. Today the Villa and Estate are property of the Corfu Municipality and are being used as an archeological museum under the oversight of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. Mon Repos is a great way to spend the day with family and friends enjoying the natural beauty of Corfu in her gardens and discovering the history and culture of Corfu inside her beautiful walls. Always a great place for an impromptu family picnic and for nature lovers.
